- Card Monochrom used to monitor the appearance monochrom black / white or green in general. This card is only 8 bits.
- Color Graphics Adapter Card is used for CGA monitors. This Card can be used two kinds of monitors, since this card can we change of CGA into monochrom and vice versa
- Enhanced Graphics Adapter Card is used for EGA monitor, card EGA equal to the difference found on the CGA card text displayed, EGA is more subtle than CGA.
- Video Graphics Adapter Card is used for VGA and SVGA
- SVGA card is used for VGA or SVGA monitor. SVGA to divided into several types:
- 16-bit SVGA card
- 32 bit SVGA card
- 64 bit SVGA card
- 128-bit SVGA card
Memory used in the SVGA card is to show text so that the characters are smaller and smoother and the color - the color resolution could be reproduced.
